With DirecTV, your sports bar won't be limited.  Some of the channels, such as NCAA Mega March Madness, NFL Sunday Ticket, and NASCAR HotPass are exclusive to DirecTV.  Sports on their own package include MLB, NHL, MBA, MLS, golf, tennis, and even Indian cricket.  In addition to specific sports, you can also get overall sports coverage from the ESPN Networks Package which has ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPNews, and ESPNU. 

Local Markets

With any sports bar, the local games are the biggest draw, and DirecTV offers many regional sports packages.  SportsNet New York, SportsTime Ohio, and the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network are just three examples of local sports programming. 

Estimated Sports Bar Viewing Occupancy

Many of the sports packages rates are determined by Estimated Viewing Occupancy.  With EVO pricing, the small neighborhood sports bars don't have to pay as much as bars with more customers.  Estimated Viewing Occupancy starts at 1-50 and covers more than 2,000 on the upper end.

Some exceptions to the EVO rates are the ESPN networks, The Golf Channel, The Tennis Channel, and Fox Soccer Channel.  These networks charge a flat monthly fee per establishment.

Pay By the Month or By the Season

Some of the sports packages, like ESPN have a monthly rate.  Other sports packages, like NFL Sunday Ticket and NBA League Pass, charge per season.

Spanish Sports Programming

If many of your customers are Spanish speakers, you'll want to add Fox Sports en Español.  This offers baseball, boxing, soccer, and sports news in Spanish.
